Associate Professor of Theatre/Performance Studies (Practice) and veteran actress Margaret Chan returns to top-tier theatre with The House of Bernarda Alba after a long absence. She ruled the stage from the 1970s and 1980s with her commanding performances, most notably as the matriarch in Emily of Emerald Hill. She made rare appearances in the new millennium and now teaches drama full-time at SMU.
