Singapore competes with US, UK as favourite of Indian students

SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan said that the government aims for 30 per cent of each Singaporean cohort to be able to receive an undergraduate education. He added, “There is also the government's policy of making Singapore a global schoolhouse and this is where private institutions can cater to local and global demands.” He was commenting on the increasing number of Indian students coming to Singapore to pursue their university education.
