SMU Associate Professor of Law and NMP Eugene Tan was one of the MPs and experts who told Shin Min Daily News what they hoped to see included in the Pioneer Generation package. He said that the public would welcome more consultation subsidies, so that senior citizens need not fret about medical expenses at their age. Associate Prof Tan also said that he hoped the package would include preventive medical services, such as subsidies for health screenings.
