SMU Adjunct Professor and Institute of Southeast Asia Studies Visiting Senior Research Fellow Joergen Oerstroem Moeller wrote a commentary on how the eurozone polices are working, with economic figures showing that on the whole, performance of the eurozone countries has improved. He noted that belonging to the single currency has forced eurozone countries to restructure, reform and retool, leading them to reap surpluses both on the current account and the primary government balance.
