SMU Professor of Information Systems (Practice) and Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Director Desai Arcot Narasimhalu wrote a commentary discussing the need for students to be introduced to innovation and entrepreneurship early. Some traits that Prof Desai felt should be instilled in students included the spirit of exploration, the spirit of experimentation, the spirit of adaptation, the spirit of collaboration and the spirit of learning.
