First survey on racial relations shows that Singaporeans are more comfortable interacting with locals of other races than with new immigrants

A recent survey on racial relations conducted by the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) and racial harmony advocacy group OnePeople.sg found that while Singaporeans are generally open to other races in the public sphere, this attitude does not always extend to the private space. SMU Associate Professor of Law and NMP Eugene Tan was on the panel involved in the survey.
