Slower pace of life, economic growth not mutually exclusive: Shanmugam

At a fireside chat with law students from SMU and NUS, Law and Foreign Affairs Minister K Shanmugam said that a slower pace of life cannot be divorced from economic growth as it has a direct impact on employment and salaries. He was responding to a recent survey by the Institute of Policy Studies which revealed that the majority of Singaporeans would like a comfortable pace of life over economic development.
