This year’s Our Singapore Conversation (OCS) will be focusing on Singaporeans’ key concerns, namely healthcare, housing and education matters. On this, SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan pointed out that research had shown that the Singapore identity is still measured by material wants. For instance, home ownership is still regarded as a “civil right” and affordability of housing has become a cause for concern for the next generation.
