Stepfather's struggles inspire pau-maker

The entrepreneurship programme, Youth Social Entrepreneurship Programme for Start-ups, offered by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), has an annual budget of $250,000 to fund youths aged between 18 and 35 to develop social enterprises. Each start-up will receive up to $50,000.MSF has tied up with the SMU Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the NUS Entrepreneurship Centre to explore development in social enterprises. They will provide successful applicants with incubation support, mentorship on social enterprise business models, and give them access to contacts and networks.
