SMU and Copenhagen Business School Adjunct Professor Joergen Oerstroem and Singapore Ambassador-At-Large Tommy Koh co-wrote a commentary on the need for an Asia-Europe free trade agreement (FTA) in view of the gradual rise of Asia as a global investor.  Professor Joergen and Professor Koh said it would be wise to build an institutional framework to facilitate the flows of trade and investment between Asia and Europe. They also highlighted the need for a transformative idea involving all 49 member countries of the Asia-Europe meeting.
