Ms Angela Tan took time off from work to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in SMU. She said that the MBA had helped to cement her proficiencies and bolster her strengths. "As my post-MBA career plans for the foreseeable future focus on supply chain, it was fortuitous that with the efforts of SMU's Office of Career Services, I secured a job at Philips Lighting Singapore in a supply chain vocation," added Ms Tan. On her decision to take up the programme at SMU, Ms Tan said: "At this stage of my career, I wanted a programme that is truly unique, one that aptly combines pedagogy with a good dose of experiential learning, as well as the more elusive 'softer' communication and presentation skills, all in equilibrium."
