SMU undergraduate and freestyle specialist Danny Yeo surprised himself after rewriting his own national record at the finals of the Singapore National Swimming Championships. Mr Yeo was representing Aquatic Performance Swim Club (APSC), and clocked 50.51 seconds to beat its previous record of 50:60 at the same meet last year. The victory qualified him for December's SEA Games in Myanmar.
