Mrs Wong-Mah Jia Lan was among four Singaporeans to be ranked in Forbes Asia's 2013 list of top philanthropists in Asia-Pacific. Last year, Mrs Wong donated US$1.3 million to SMU to support its counselling centre and S$1 million to start a scholarship for its needy students
