On the internationalisation of higher education in Asia and the globalisation of English, the writer made refer to a talk held at the Singapore Management University on 16 February where Minister of Education Heng Swee Keat concluded that “Asia is going to be a critical part of our future. The more we understand what is going on in Asia, the better our future will be. We must position ourselves as a global Asian hub that connects Asia with the world.”
