Four locals here make it to Forbes Asia list of top philanthropists
Four Singaporeans, including Mrs Wong-Mah Jia Lan, landed on Forbes Asia's 2013 list of top philanthropists in Asia-Pacific. Last year, Mrs Wong donated US$1.3 million to SMU to support its counselling centre, and S$1 million to the University to start a scholarship for its needy students.
