On the death of American engineer Shane Todd, SMU Assistant Professor of Law Eugene Tan explained that the different accounts of Todd’s death could have larger implications. There could be implications for Singapore-US bilateral relations and questions about the integrity of the Singapore legal system, particularly about the death, he said.
