A book, From Partition to Operation Bluestar: Tales of a Journalist, Bureaucrat, Spy, by Som Nath Dhar was launched in Singapore on 3 April at SMU by Director of the Wee Kim Wee Centre at SMU Kirpal Singh and Mr Dhar’s two daughters Tara Hasmain and Pamposh Dhar. The book gives readers a ringside view of India since its birth as an independent nation in 1947 leading up to the disastrous Operation Bluestar in 1984.
