Citibank launched the first-of-its-kind Student Mentorship Program in Singapore this year as a way to give back to the community through people development initiatives. The programme attracted over 400 applications from SMU, NUS and NTU. Of these, some 140 university students across all year groups and faculties were selected for the programme based on five factors: high academic and leadership achievements, community involvement, internship experiences, interest in the financial industry and potential as future leaders.
