Over 90 per cent of fresh graduates employed in 2012: Joint university survey

According to results from the first joint graduate employment survey conducted by the three local universities which surveyed a total of 9,668 full-time, fresh graduates, a majority of SMU, NUS and NTU graduates managed to find employment within six months of graduating. As of 1 November 2012, 91 per cent of graduates managed to secure a job, with 85.6 per cent of them employed in full-time permanent jobs. The median gross monthly salary among fresh graduates employed in full-time permanent employment was $3,050, while the average gross monthly salary was $3,260.
