Speaking at a dialogue session with SMU students on Friday (15 March), Tata Group Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata said that India and China could gain from each other, especially in the business arena, and forge a powerful economic block. However, the two nations are not as close as they “should or could be”. Citing partnership between Tatas-owned JLR and China’s Cherry Automobile, he said that the Chinese brought ingenuity and creativity to their job.
