Second Minister of Trade and Industry S Iswaran said in Parliament that the Government would ensure that every Singaporean realises his/her true potential and it aims to help them seize good employment opportunities. To help reach that goal, Minister Iswaran announced the new Global-Asia Management Programme under the EDB, which offers a Masters degree where participants would receive full sponsorship for their studies whilst working in companies such as Rolls-Royce and GlaxoSmithKLline. Minister Iswaran added that IE Singapore has partnered with SMU and SUTD to develop a talent development programme in trade.
