SDA to voters: Desmond Lim is back

On the Singapore Democratic Alliance candidate Desmond Lim, SMU Assistant Professor of Law Eugene Tan said that it is unlikely that he would receive more votes than at the last election. Desmond Lim’s comments about how he would rather lose his electoral deposit than save it for his newborn child might be perceived as a strategy to gain sympathy, and voters might not see him as a serious candidate.
