WP’s candidate to be revealed soon

On whether the Workers’ Party (WP) would be revealing a “trump card” for the Punggol East by-election as they did for the General Election (GE), SMU Assistant Professor of Law Eugene Tan said that this would depend on how importantly the WP views this election. At the same time, it would depend on how qualified the WP candidate is. If the WP is not confident of its victory, it would most likely only reveal its high-powered candidate during the next GE.
