Olam’s bond issue approved

On the Temasek Holdings’ support of Olam, SMU Professor of Finance and Associate Dean (Research) Melvyn Teo, also an analyst, said: “Companies like SingTel and Singapore Airlines are strategic investments for Temasek, while Olam is not. As such [Temasek] must have seen great potential in the company and the commodity industry.”
