Arabia-Asia: Tocco Studios has the right touch

SMU SIS alumni Vincent Lai and Andy Soh were sitting in a class on entrepreneurship at Singapore Management University when they received an unexpected phone call. A group from the Gulf was visiting the university’s business incubator and wanted to learn more about their company Tocco Studios. While that meeting did not result in a sale, it introduced the entrepreneurs to the idea of doing business in the Gulf. The duo shared their experience of doing business in the Middle East and described some of the challenges they faced.
