Swimming with the dolphins; seeing snow for the first time; taking one's mother for a vacation overseas. These are things that some young people hope to accomplish during their lifetime. To encourage the youths not to give up on their dreams and to live their life without regrets, five SMU students interviewed over 30 Singaporeans who overcame various personal challenges in life, and compiled their stories into a book of bucket lists. DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who launched the book yesterday at SMU, commented that this was a meaningful undertaking by the group of young people.
