The CSISG produced by ISES noted that the frequency of bus arrivals and punctuality were rated the worst among all factors that determined satisfaction for bus services. Overall satisfaction fell by 4.8 points to 61.6 points. The authorities have taken measures to improve the quality of bus services. Bigger buses and more trips have been added, with the Government paying for 550 new buses and the bus operators providing another 250. The satisfaction rating for taxis also dropped by 2.4 points to 64.3 points, as consumers saw an increase in fare but no change in service.
