SIAS is partnering the Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics at SMU (SKBI) and Brendan Wood International to develop a new corporate governance scorecard for Singapore-listed companies. It will now include shareholders' appraisal in their ranking. Under the new judging criteria, the judges, headed by Associate Professor Jeremy Goh from SKBI, will first give a ranking of the listed companies, based on SKBI's own Singapore Corporate Governance Index. Brendan Wood International (Asia) will then assess these companies on their corporate strategies and board of directors, based on reviews by shareholders.
