Imagine giving someone a roof over their head? Last week, a group of students who are dedicated to that very idea launched the Habitat for Humanity Chapter, the first such Chapter in a university campus in Singapore. Through the SMU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter, SMU students will engage in community service work by going overseas to help build houses for the poor and also help in local house cleaning projects. Ben Seow, 3rd year student at SMU, president of Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter talked about the special rewards these students get from giving, and how it keeps them wanting to make a difference.
