PM Lee: Building a warm and inclusive society; Don't be ugly Singaporeans

In his National Day Rally speech, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong cited how Vietnamese SMU undergraduate Le Ha Thanh Mai overcame the language barrier and initial difficulties adjusting when she arrived on a scholarship at the age of 15, and is now championing integration as International Students' Secretary of SMU's Students' Association. She now feels Singaporean and Vietnamese in equal measure, Mr Lee noted.
