More fresh graduates expect monthly pay of at least S$3,000

A majority of recent graduates expect to be paid S$3,000 or more a month for their first job, a survey showed. They also expect to get a promotion in their second year of work. Among those surveyed, computing and IT graduates were found to have the highest salary expectations. The annual survey was conducted online from April to May this year by online job site JobsCentral. A total of 2,213 respondents, from the graduating classes of 2010 to 2017 at SMU, NTU and NUS, participated in the survey.
