Youth fulfilling their chef dreams

Young people these days are more proactive in pursuing their dreams. One example is 28-year-old Li Xiaoming, a business management graduate from SMU. Despite objections from his parents, he took the road less travelled and became a chef apprentice after graduation. “Today's youth have more courage to pursue their dreams, so do I. My mum and I had a pact – I agreed to complete my university education before pursuing what I like to do,” he said.
