Prof Joergen Oerstroem Moeller, visiting senior research fellow at ISAS and adjunct professor at SMU and Copenhagen Business School, commented that although the Eurozone faces many challenges, they do not constitute an insurmountable obstacle. He observed that the euro area is already turning its economy around under agonising conditions, and debt and deficits are being brought under control; something the US, Britain and Japan have been unable to do.
