Camp to help madrasah students prepare for the GCE ‘O' Level Examinations

A volunteer body, Aspire and Achieve Through Mentorship (AAM) has organised a three-day, two-night camp – “Camp Inc. '12 – A Journey Through Time” to help students from the Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah prepare for this year's GCE ‘O' level examinations in Mathematics ‘E' and ‘A' and English. Supported by mentors comprising some 60 students from SMU, NUS, NTU as well as former and current students of polytechnics who have recently completed their National Service, and from the Arts Community, the camp ran over 2 and 3 June and attracted 70 madrasah students.
