According to the results of the 2012 first quarter Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore by the Institute of Service Excellence at SMU, customer satisfaction in the retail and info-communications sector has shown a drop in the satisfaction levels within the motor-vehicles sub-sector, while that in the infocomm sector has improved. The survey also noted that between 2011 and 2012, consumers had been getting increasingly vocal and that was indicated in the increase in customer complaints.
