Dr Poh Lee Guan from WP also applied for the political donation certificates yesterday which sparked off speculations that there might be two candidates from WP competing for the Hougang seat. SMU Assistant Law Professor Eugene Tan said, ?WP has openly announced that Mr Png Eng Huat is the party's only nominated candidate for Hougang. Without WP's support, Poh Lee Guan might still get some votes, but the impact will not be great and the chance of winning slim. He might even lose his deposit.?
