Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Institute has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SMU to conduct training programmes and research on Asia's financial and capital markets. The partnership is formed against the backdrop of closer links between the financial markets of Singapore and India in recent years. BSE said that the MOU will enable the two institutes to jointly design and launch management development programmes, besides offering postgraduate certificate programmes in areas related to financial markets, such as risk management, SMEs and family-owned businesses and executive leadership. Professor Rajendra K Srivastava, SMU's Provost and Deputy President (Academic Affairs) commented that this MoU would enable knowledge acquisition and exchange from both the practitioner's and academic's perspectives.
