Expectations for Budget 2012

SMU Associate Professor Annie Koh, Dean of Executive and Professional Education said that pain will continue as far as foreign worker levies go. Otherwise Singapore companies will not change and continue using low cost labour. The government might come in with schemes that indicate if companies are willing to invest in their human capital locally, they will let those companies do an equivalent top-up in the form of one more foreign labour.
