He was speaking at a forum at SMU, citing feedback from a group of chief executive officers. Mr Heng lamented that the typical response of Singapore workers when tasked with new responsibilities was: 'What if I fail? Will I still have a job? Is there a support system and do I get retrenchment benefits?'
