Upswing in starting salaries for university graduates - Nine in ten managed to find employment despite economic slowdown last year

SMU achieved an employment rate of 95.6 per cent last year, with an increase of 3.6 per cent in starting salaries to $3,388, a record high since its first cohort graduated in 2004. NTU graduates saw starting salaries increase by an average of 4.2 per cent to $3,152, while NUS graduates also saw starting salaries rise from an average of $2,970 to $3,112.
