The Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) showed that the local banks nabbed the top three scores in the index's financial sub-sector and decisively beat the foreign banks at 69.3 points compared to 67.2 points. Marcus Lee, academic director of Institute of Service Excellence at SMU (ISES), said that, ?Local banks have a larger customer base, with very different needs; thus they could have taken a longer time to show results.?
