Education Minister Heng Swee Keat is concerned about the number of employers who said that Singaporean students lack drive and confidence to venture out of their comfort zone. These were the qualities which chief executives and entrepreneurs singled out as essentials to succeed in the competitive global playing field. Mr Heng Swee Keat recounted this remark made by a group of CEOs he met a day before he spoke to some 300 university students at a SMU forum on Tuesday evening.
