Commenting on the saga of the walkout by six SPP leaders, political observer and SMU Assistant Professor of Law Eugene Tan said that with the resignation of Wilfred Leung and Benjamin Pwee ? both previously touted as potential successors to Mr Chiam See Tong - from the Party's central executive committee, the prospects of Jimmy Lee, the only fresh face remaining from the last general election, looked more promising. Hence, it was understandable that he did not join SPP's leadership exodus.
