SMU undergraduate Rick Tan and his partner Jonathan Lim founded Innova Technology through a business proposal that was done under the SMU fast-track programme with Spring Singapore, and with the mentors that SMU had assigned to help, Rick and Jonathan would soon be launching their new device, aL (for anti-loss), that would sound an alarm on the cellphone if one had forgetfully walked away from valuables such as wallet, handbag or notebook.
