Three local universities are uploading more of their lectures online, even as early as 10 minutes later, but they all reported that students are still turning up at lectures halls regularly. NTU and NUS first started webcasting lectures in 2000. SMU started this year, but has fewer recordings available as class participation is a key component of its curriculum.
