Lim Boon Heng to helm the task of winning back Aljunied at the next GE

The ruling party has roped in its former party chairman Lim Boon Heng to helm the task of taking back Aljunied GRC. Eugene Tan, SMU's Assistant Professor of Law commented that the ruling party was lacking in leadership in Aljunied since the elections in May, with Lim Boon Heng, there is now some direction. “Moreover, as the previous NTUC General-Secretary and PAP's party chairman, Lim Boon Heng is recognised and reputable” he said.
