National sprinter and SMU student, Gary Yeo clocked 10.46sec on Sunday to take silver in the men's 100m - Singapore's first SEA Games medal in the blue-riband event in a decade since U.K. Shyam's second place in Kuala Lumpur. A second-year business student, Gary said this year had been very difficult for him with the frustrations of having to juggle both studies and training but he felt that the hard work had paid off.
