Any new varsity 'must find niche to be special'

Minister of State for Education Lawrence Wong said SMU and Singapore Institute of Technology are recognised for providing high-quality education to their students, even though they are smaller, niche institutions. He added that any new universities in Singapore should also specialise to continue building diversity in educational opportunities.
