Hong Kong media veteran Chan Koon Chung sold his stake as publisher of the popular Haowai or City magazine and moved to Beijing in 2000 to write the novel Shengshi: Zhongguo 2013. Mr Chan will be speaking at the Singapore Writers Festival on Oct 26 where SMU is the venue sponsor.
