Teaching with new media gives students great fun on the Net

The use of new media has become an overwhelming trend globally and students at SMU have embraced it in their quest for knowledge.  For those who are enrolled in the “Digital Media in Asia” course, two-thirds of their course grading are determined by their assignments on Wiki network as well as their participation in discussions on social media platforms and community portals. Dr Michael Netzley, the course instructor, has received many international awards or nominations for his curriculum design.
